Well, I would go out and buy about 4 sets of 3/8 drive, from 1/4 to 7/8, then about 3 sets of 1/2" drive, up to 1 1/4, then a 3/4" set, the cheap ones. I find craftsman handy when I break a socket, or strip a ratchet after using a pipe on it. don't forget the 16" pipe for 3/8 drive, 24" for 1/2 drive and 48" for 3/4 drive. If you wonder why so many sets, it is so you can always find the socket you want. I ussually buy 7/16, 1/2, and 9/16 by the handful because so many get lost.
