Jesse: Like the others said the mower is worth that, by all means buy it. I'm going to throw in another possible idea on the tractor. Super A never had a dipstick, the Super A1 did, but that was only the last 1,957 Super A tractors built in 1954. You are saying it has a water pump, thus have you thought it may be a C-123 engine out of a SA1, 100, 200, 130, 230, 140 or 240. A 140 or 240 will have an automotive type water pump on fan hub, while the rest will have pump down by bottom block port and will have it's own separate pulley. CNKS also makes the point of it being possible C-135 engine, he may well be right, however a lot of C-135 didn't have proper crankshaft for bolting up an A or SA, making that somewhat expensive. The other possibility I didn't mention was C-123 from a SC, I've never paid close enough attention to SC to know whether dipstick was used. CNKS or gene would know this.
You also really haven't said why you believe rear of tractor to be an A. Are the cultivators hand lift? Are you positive the rear is Farmall A? I'm not trying to put this tractor down, but rather I have a gut feeling your deal is actually better than you make it sound. Is it possible you in fact have a newer tractor than you think?
