yes both tractors are solid field ready tractors. i have had the 966 since 1984 and have around $17000 in repairs since then. i bought a 5288 w/6000 hrs and 1000 hrs on an o/h for $15750. this tractor was to replace the 966. the 686 is my planting tractor it replaced my 560 which i will keep for loader work. both tractors paint is not perfect. i looked at the 3688 again today with my brother. we both agreed that the tires are needing replaced and the top link was missing. so i'll try to get them to come down if not so be it. even if they do i'm not completely sold on doing this deal. thanks for you and tractor vets input! Duane
