Thanks for the idea. I am planning on making up an offset mount for the fenders to get them out of the way, but extending the platform is something I hadn't considered. Guess I can get the sketchbook out and a tape measure.... I really enjoy these forums, I have found a wealth of information here. The idea of a spot to help in refueling is good.
