Your story sounds pretty much like mine. I didn't even know what "rings" were when I bought my H. Engine was stuck, etc., etc., but I bought it anyway and have been sick with antique tractor fever ever since. I had to do a complete tear-down and rebuild. I got most of the info I needed by searching the archives of this site, asking questions on this site, and buying manuals and books on this site or at tractor shows.
