M Won't Run Right

I had my grandfather's M tore apart all spring rreplacing the front bolster bushings and radiator. The manifold also needed flattening because it was leaking at the two center exhaust ports.

It hasn't run right since I got it back together, had to choke to start it and it would not pull any load. I tore the carburetor down today to clean out what had gotten dislodged. What I found was a mud dauber's nest almost completely plugging the venturi!

It is really nice when you take something apart and find a problem.
