Letter series engine similarity?

I am wondering how similar the letter series engines are. I ask because I found this video on this site: http://www.ytmag.com/store/videos/rebuild.htm I am interested in the information for the H, which I hope to find, buy, and restore. But I want to make sure that the "information pertaining to" isn't just some off-handed comments, and that this video will be worth my money and time.
