There may be problems with the drum and the bearing and seal on that brake. Oil and dirt could be part of the mix. Remove the bolts on the brake pan, unhook the brake clevis and wiggle the pan off. At a glance you will know if there is oil, dirt, metal filings, worn linings etc. The drum will unbolt and pull off to show condition of seal.Don't forget to remove the adjusting screw at the bottom of the pan. Often if the lining is not worn out, a good cleaning and adjustment, will get you going, there are brass bushings in the ends of the brake shafts that fit into the mounting holes in the tractor, they corrode and sieze, clean, grease or replace as needed..e-mail if you need help...Mike in Exeter Ontario
