I have the book by C.H. Wendel "150 years of IHC" and this is what I can tell you... The 100 and 200 model were steel sided with two beaters and an auger in the back, with a wooden floor. Those were made circa 1940 to 1955. As for a full-wooden box spreader all I can determine is that the 4-A spreader started production in 1932 and was all-steel. My educated guess is that a wooden spreader would have to be pre-1932 or is something not listed in the book. If you would like scans of the manure spreader pages, shoot me an email and I can get them to you in a day or two.
