As Janicholson says and also. Clean and tighten all battery cable connections. If the starter doesn't even try to turn over its stuck or you have bad connections or the worse case if the starter has gone bad. But if you have a hand crank a cub is so easy to turn over you could start it that way. Also if you try the hand crank and can'tturn the engine over the starter is most likely stuck and will need to be loosen up till it pops loose
