1949 farmall cub does not start

First of all I would like to thank you all for the advice . Manuals are on their way. Next problem is that the cub will not start . I checked the battery ,I have juice then power to starter I have juice their also. Next should be check starter? Or the on off switch? What is the best way with limited skill? The tractor was running 1hr pryor to it not running.What Ican give for clues/direction is when trying to start I get no sounds nothing which might tell me that Ihave aloose conection some where BUT WHERE!! Thanks again for your help
