Well if ya got the maifold apart then that is 99% of the battel , now just clean up the pices and slide it back together and carbon will do the rest for resealing and as far as massuren the width of a plow massure between the beam and that is the width if ya try and amssure the shear then it is something like this a 14 inch bottm the shear will be ABOUT 16 inch long and a 16 inch shear will be ABOUT 18 inch long, like i said ABOUT . A 806 was designed as a 5 bottom tractor when new and would roll along with 5x16's in 4th low stick ahead as i did a lot of plowen with and 806 when they were brand new , but they work real nice with 4x16's as that is what i am pullen with mine i have a set of 710 4X16's that i pull with it and can run high 1st .
