I am going to do just what you said, and yes inside the rim it is very deep pitted, this project is a mercy saving task, the rim by all rights is in bad shape, but still has enough steel in it to last for several years, at least until I can buy good used, or new rims...Thank you very much for your advice, I appreciate it!! Plus look at the learning experience I get, and then I can pass it along to others
