I had both a 560 and 656 and during the year I had them I ran them on 72" centers. On 72" centers both tractors had 3 holes of inner tube exposed. My 300 was the same. If you want to compare I've forgotten distance between hole but that should tell you how narrow mine would go. My tractors were bought new thus everything was factory. I'm thinking 60" would be the inner limit.
