While the seasoned experts could probably tell from the serial number, is it a gas or a diesel? Diesel will be worth more than gas, for obvious reasons, but even the diesels are a bit of a dog on the market because of the bipolar reaction to the D310 German diesel that normally comes in this tractor... People either love 'em or hate 'em, and unfortunately, they're super-expensive to rebuild as I understand it. Gasser will be worth no more than $3500 in any condition... Diesel might be worth $5000 if it's in excellent condition. IMHO, and ready to be proven wrong. These tractors are too new to be collector's items, and given that they're HEAVY, they probably won't ever be very big on the collector's market. They're still in daily use on farms all over the country. Still good workin' tractors.
