Hi, To say I'm out of my element on a tractor discussion forum would be an understatement. To make a long story short, we have a Farmall 504 that is such a workhorse around the farm, and especially great for raking hay. Well, our nephew completely destroyed the engine yesterday...always in a big hurry to stay way ahead of everyone in anything he's doing. I am distraught about this, needless to say, as its the only tractor I actually enjoy driving to do hay work. I feel like its going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack to locate a new engine block for this tractor, and it is just in too much of a mess to even begin to repair without fully replacing the engine. Do I have any hope of getting this tractor back up and running? It also has sentimental value, as it has been in the family since it was purchased new many years back. Thanks for any suggestions or advice on this that you can share. Belinda
