I grew up on the family farm and I fixed up older tractors to use with my Dad so I could be a bigger part of the farming operation. Right now I own 2 H's, an F-12 and a W-9, along with a couple of pickups that get used for the farm. Had to move to the city for work to pay the bills, just not enough $$ in small farming operations these days to make it work. I use my vacation time to head back up to ND and help out as much as I can. My brother is slowly taking over the operation so that Dad can finally get some fishing in! Hopefully he will keep allowing me to help out (free labor, why not!?) I think you will find there are lots of people in town who want to get back to the country lifestyle.
