Have you thought about buying a steel pulley instead of the paper? If you plan on using the pulley, I am more of a fan of the paper type since they seem to have less belt slippage...but if it's just for looks, steel is the low maintenance way to go! They are not hard to find. I picked one up last weekend for $50 without so much as a scratch in it...a little bit of paint and it looks like new. Here ya go!
