656 Will not move

I need some help guys, I was out pulling a set of drags around the field today and have a big problem. While making a left turn at the end of the field I tapped the left brake to help it around when the front end was sliding. As soon as I tapped the brake I heard a snap from somewhere under the seat and the tractor stopped dead. All gears are out. Clutch, brakes, and T/A feel normal and there is no noises or antyhing. Could I have snapped an axel or something?
