I would also like to point out that an exploded view of the gearbox is available in IH Parts Book TC-55. That covers 400-450 row crops. I suspect it is also included in the W-400 and 450 book as well as any parts book pertaining to 560's. It is not in my SMTA book although the Electrall will fit that model. Exluding gears, bearings, gaskets, seals, clips, dowels, washers, bolts, and the pulley which is splined, there are five parts that need to be made from scratch. Twenty-six parts total. This would be a challenging project for a well equipped vocational school. The welding and fab shops could also make the tin parts.
