460 Diesel Injector Seals

I am putting the injectors back in and am not sure if the black rubber seals (o-rings) go all of the way to the top of the injector (all the way up around the collar at the top) or just up to the top of the injector before the collar. It seems like they could go either way. I think they are supposed to go all of the way up (rolled up around the collar). But, they may just go around the body of the injector at the top. Any help would be appreciated. I want to make sure I have got a good seal.
