Gearshift on 400 Farmall

Let me start by saying I'm NOT bashing IH, the 400, or trying to strike up controversy. This is just a little thing, but couldn't IH have come up with somethng better than that bent/offset shift lever. When they get a little worn, they sure are a knuckle smasher. I'm a CASE person and people have a field day with our "chicken roost" steering, etc. Glenn F.

I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
