Reason why I ask is I have looked at a cub today and it had the downward bend (45 degree) like mine and then I looked at a H and it had it straight (90 degree) bend like yours.

I may just have to go get my grill back from the welder and remount it and see just what I am dealing with. It is hard to think just where the hole would line up if it was bent straight out. Plus the distance between this and the grill is quite important.
