Well I have thought of doing just that, but hydraulic fluid is soo $$$ Altho I do have an UNLIMITED supply of used hydraulic fluid from a nearby factory. It's used, but not bad. Its cooled to 85 degrees F for their fiberglass 4,000 ton presses. Its not my best option, but it is my cheapest. Its not the dealer fluid, but its alot cheaper. I cant imgine it hurting anything, as the factory has alot of older equipment. This stuff is used in the cylinders, then it goes back into a cooling chiller, filtered, then bak in too the 5,000 gallon resevoirs for reuse, so i shouldnt say its used (as in ready to be thrown out).
