Detroit Diesel has never released a 90 hp 2-71. That is not to say one could not be modified by turning up the governor and fitting larger injectors. Engine longevity would suffer. I don't know what the specification was for the kit installed 2-71. I would have to assume it was around 50 hp. That would be equivalent to one third of a contemporary industrial 6-71 at 150 hp. And one should bear in mind that the rated power was produced at a higher rpm than the M engine. 1400 (M) vs 1800 (2-71). Consequently, the torque was probably less than a M. One should also bear in mind that the kit was not "shadetree" engineered. The package was sold thru Detroit Diesel dealerships and had to have been warranteed.
