First, look in the fuel tank, might be something in there that is partially blocking the flow. the next thing is the sediment bowl under the tank, remove the glass bowl and clean it out good, and then open the fuel petcock and see if gas flows freely, if that checks out, replace the sediment bowl. Next, remove the fuel line from the carb, and see how much fuel flows freely through the line, should be almost a flood, not just a trickle. If that checks out, remove the fuel inlet fitting from the carb, there should be a fine mesh brass screen attached to the fitting, make sure it is clean. If all of the above is in order, and you are still having problems, it"s back to square one with needle valve and seat in the carb. As a side thought, a weak ignition coil or improper ignition timing will cause the same symptoms.
