I think it is usually best to buy equipment to fit the tractor. You just about can't come out stepping up to a higher HP level unless you are upgrading your equipment across the board to match the size tractor you move up to. Anything under $2000 for tillage equipment is just incidental money compared with a larger tractor and the associated fuel consumed doing lighter work. Six weeks after you start working the 1466 and you have to replace the T/A it will be hard to remember it only cost you $300 to go to 26 ft. I would probably buy both units and use the good one for spare parts. It's still only $1,300.
