Some tractors were converted to road grader use with extended frame rails and attachments to provide adjustment of the mid mounted blade (just in front of the radiator) Other companies made graders and put Power units in them. My MD manual shows powerunits with folded under transmission systems and axle shafts ready for grader use. Other companies made all but the powerplant, and purchased IH engines only. They arn't real rare, but not too many have been restored. Ih would paint any color the customer asked for, and many were yellow, for highway visibility. JimN
