I have no fuel pump. Fuel comes from the tank gravity feed. I'm also thinking, the fuel filter that was on the tractor itself was attached to the bottom of the tank. The glass bowl. That got broken, so I replaced it with a Napa in-line fuel filter with a shutoff valve. I'm thinking the filter from Napa is not allowing enough gravity feed fuel to the carburetor.
I think I'm going to take the fuel filter out, and run straight to the carburetor with shutoff valve only. The tank has just been cleaned out completely. So at this time I have no worries about garbage.
I will keep you updated.
