Getting back to rotation, any gas IH (Stewart-Warner) tach will work. I think they are all calibrated the same. The main difference between models is the face. MPH in gear bands will differ as well as 540 PTO line. The diesel tach rotates in the opposite direction and the tach face is a mirror image of the gas tach face.
