There are about 7200 Farmall 340s and 11000-12000 340Us. Personally i think they are a great tractor, our 340U has handled everything we have ever thrown at it. We use a 6ft snowblower on it for winter, a mower in the summer, and pull a 10 or 12ft disk with it every once in a while. The down pressure also comes in handy for blading.
