1947 Farmall Model A

Ok, so we're new to this. We just purchased what we thought was a 1957 Model A to work our little 10 acres, but it turned out to be a 1947. Our local tractor "guy" just about had a heart attack when he saw it and we told him we were using it on the place here - something about "... do you know what you have?" and "... it should be in a museum". It's a nice little tractor, in fabulous shape ... is there something we should know? Is it worth more than the $2k we paid for it?
