We had a pressure vessle filled with engine oil
and connected a hose into the oil gallery. We used air pressure to push the oil throughout the engine. Make sure you prime the oil pump before installing on the engine too. One of Wagner's brake bleeder tank is a good choice for doing this. They have bladder that separates the air from the oil. I spun the oil pump on a GM car
with a drill after I had the engine together. I don't think that's possible on the tractor engines since the oil pump engages the cam shaft. Hal
