They sure as heck dont make things like they used to. It's sad that you have to spent 10x as much nowadays to get something that will last...
Even the worst made stuff back in the 50s, 50s, and 70s lasted a hell of alot longer then alot of the best things made nowadays, from tractors, to power tools, etc.
We have traded (through no fault of the consumer), longevity for more functions, easier of use, cheaper price tag.

Everytime I buy something, I wish it was 50 years ago =(
