If the fingers look bad then most likley the clutch pedal has been ridden and worn them away or the release bearing is siezed. Check the holes in the linkage are not elongated and the adjuster rod and the clevis pin are in good condition. Check also the bushes and clutch cross shaft are not worn causing lost motion in the linkage. The 574 will not have the wear plate in, they came out in 85 series production and tractors so fitted have no pedal return spring. As the clutch wears the gap between the fingers and bearing will diminish anyway.
