300u P or NP?

Is the 300u with a c169 engine pressurized or non? There is a pressurized cap on it, however when i got it it was about 2 inches from the fill neck, and when I filled it up, it came out near the top of the radiator after I ran it for a bit? Either the system is pressurized and the caps gasket is shot, letting it go right out the vent tube, or it is a nonpressurized system and im overfilling it.
