I now have it wired correctly and on to next problem. No increases in charges across battery, vr, or generator, and no smoking. I did not do a motor test yet. I thought I might as well mow lawn...while mowing for a short time my ammeter did show a charge of 2 amps. When I was finished it was back to O amps, oh well it did charge for awhile.
