CNKS: I wouldn't get too concerned about the bobcat trailer as far as weight is concerned. Most of those little bobcats are pushing 6,000#, and it's concentrated weight, not spread out like the M. The two new skidsteers I had back in the 70s, one had a counterweight and was over 6,000#, and the other just under. Some of the new one's today are getting up in the 7,000# to 8,000# range. The little beasts are much harder on a trailer than my 300, 560 or 656 were. I expect most bobcat trailers are rated 10,000# or more. Why anyone would build a trailer that heavy and not have a 8x 16' or 20' deck is beyond me. There are a lot of them out there though, 10,000# capacity and little more than the size of the bobcat.
