They looked at the valves and pulled them out and tried cleaning them, but they were all scored the mechanic said, and I asked about rebuilding it, but they assured me this MCV is junk, housing and all. They claimed they tested the pump off the remote and said it was fine, but now they tell me it needs to be replaced, so I need to ask some more questions and see what made them change their minds on the pump. They claim that the pump Case IH offers for that tractor now, is not compatible with the original style MCV so if they installed a new pump, then they would have to go with this super expensive MCV?.
