i went thru the drippy carbs on a number of my farmalls. here are some things you can check. float levels, needle and seat in the float to see if it sticks. check to see if the float is bent and rubbing on the carb body. check to see if the bowl gasket is hitting the top of the float. check to see if the pin that holds the float on isnt sliding off the posts. one side has a hole the other has a slot, squeeze the slot side a little to tighten up the grip. check for a pinhole in the float, it may be fill up with fuel and drop. and here is one that happened on my minneapolis moline back hoe, the vented fuel cap was plugged, the tank would build up excessive pressure and squirt fuel thru the float.
