The 2+2 was an idea that never did sell well or perform up to expectations. They were an idea to make a front wheel assist tractor that was more rugged then the conventional steering front drive axles we see today. The 2+2 tractors were plagued with mechanical problems and poor fuel economy while trying to sell in one of the worst farm economies since the Depression (if not worse). They are rare but so are Delorans and Edsels.
