It is origional, never painted, never had any motor work. The motor leaks less oil than my toyota. the hydrolics need to be rebuilt b/c they leak but the pump is fine. The guy I bought it from didn't know anyhting about it, he only had it b/c he got it from his father inlaw, and the reason he bought it was he knew his fahter in law took very good care of it. He had it for 10 years and only used it once a year to plow potatoes. I checked the oil in the bottom of the air filter and there was very little sludge, so i suspect either the oil was changed very often or the tracter used very little by the origional owner. Also the oil cap has no sludge in the steel wool. The only reason i will redo the motor is so i can clean/paint the block, also a good friend of mine is a IH mechanic and he'll do it for nothing. The hood is in great shape, the grill has dents, the tractor is the usual old farmall faded red now brown color, surface rust but nothing bad, its deffinatly been kept inside. I don't have any pics but i'll get some. It has a shaft that comes from behind the right rear axle, into the area where the draw bar attatches, it turn with the wheel, do you know what that was for?
