And I always thought those two holes had something to do with a cultivator or specialized harvesting equipment. It seems hard to believe that IH would have considered the needs of a farmer trying to squeeze a forage wagon into a shed. Did other manufacturers show the same concern? One should also point out that there are two unused holes at the top of the lower bolster. Seems like all four holes might have been used together.
