Have seen too long of bolt used in bracket mtg at bellhousing on SM and 3020 Deere. Eng"s were locked by bolt touching flywheel. On M, after removing picker mtg, bolts were screwed back in tractor for "safe keeping" Same on Deere except cult brackets. Did you have side rails off to replace bolster?
