There was a factory recall on all 900 corn heads. All gear box were sent back to the factory to be rebuilt. The new gear box's had coil springs on the slip clutch just like the 1000 heads. The old box's had belvue springs. Compare the 963 head to the 1063 heads to see if they are the same. This recall was over 20 years ago so I doubt if there are any old gear box's left. Stan
