I put new wires, plugs, rotor, cap, points ect on my B. Just learning, have learned alot from all of you! Tried to go by the book, and put the wires in the cap back in the book picture order, # 1 being at about 2-3 o'clock on the cap, then 3,4,2 clockwise. I should of tried to find TDC, but didn't. Anyway, got very little spark. Redid point gap about 100 times!!, checked plug gap too, had little spark from mag wire to cap. Finally found a diagram I drew when I took the wires off the cap. Wire #3 was at 2-3 oclock, then 4,2,1 clockwise. It fired right up. What is the reason for this? Did the farmer put the mag in a few teeth off? Is it ok like this? Hope I explained it right. Thanks, Steve
