Main hyd.'s are on a differant system then the steering , so first off myself i can not at this time tell ya just where that plug could have gone and there is now way that it could have come from the rear ens into the hyd . filter . Now in all that i have worked on i have found all sorts of stuff in the filter area but never a freeze plug. And if the loader is slugish then depending on just how it is plumed in to the system will make a differance . As for the steering problems that is on a nother pump , now it may be the pump is going south and it may be other problems in the MCV or in the ft. end . Nowthis is something that i can not tell ya on the computer as ya would have to look and test before ya made up your mind as to the problem . As for rebuilding the pumps , Don't waiste your time ya install a new or reman. But ya sure as hello want to be sure that it is the pump before ya spend the money. So here you are far ahead of the game to have the systems TESTED first by someone that has a Flow Rater and knows I H tractors as you will be time and money ahead because if ya pull the pumps out and replace them and it still does not work that money and time is done gone and you still have the same problem . If i had the tractor setting here it would take me about two to three hours to figure out just what it needed and if it was just pumps about two hours to R &R them .
