Use a jumper wire etc to momentarily flash jump from the VR's (or cutout relays) BAT terminal over to its ARM/GEN terminal n you ought to get s spark. The same things accomplished by flashing any hot ungrounded battery voltage source (like is present on the VR or cutout relays BAT terminal) direct to the gennys ARM post n get the spark. BE SURE n do that before you fire her up!!!!!!!!!!!!! If its a coil ignition swap coil leads so the + terminal wires to the distributor (- gets voltage from ignition switch) and if it has an ammeter n youre changing polarity its leads need swapped or else it will read bass ackwards John t
