Yes, you are correct. Be sure to plumb to one of the front outlets on the belly pump, as the rear outlet is delayed for use with mounted cultivators. One hydraulic line from a one-way cylinder on your mower to a front belly pump outlet. Pull the handle all the way back to lift, 1/2 way will hold the mower up, and all the way forward will lower it. The only reason to add a control valve on a belly pump system is to control more than 1 cylinder independently or convert to two-way hydraulics.
