Hugh...Aye, we enjoyed haggis several times across the sea. The traditional "haggis, tatties and neeps" is one of daughter Kristin's favorites. Also enjoyed smoked salmon and Lochaber smoked cheese from fellow-father-in-law Simon's smokehouse. And, of course, the boys and I shared a wee dram or two of the peaty stuff. Plus a pint or four. One of my fondest memories is being in the Glenuig Inn, a tiny pub about 25-feet square, with a coal fire glowing in the fireplace, wind howling like heck outside. Then I, along with my future son in law, left the pub at 3 am to walk along a waterway named the Sound of Arisaig. The stars seemed so close you could touch them, and Paul told me about Scottish ghosts and his beloved Highlands. That really was a night. Thanks for asking. David
